The Effects of Dietary Fermented Soybean Meal Supplementation on the Growth, Antioxidation, Immunity, and mTOR Signaling Pathway of Juvenile Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch)

This experiment aims to investigate the effects of partial replacement fish meal (FM) by soybean (SBM) and/or fermented (FSBM) on growth, serum biochemistry, digestion, antioxidation, immunity, and mTOR signaling pathway juvenile coho salmon (Oncorhynchus kisutch). Four iso-nitrogen iso-lipid diets were designed fed four groups (152.25 ± 2.96 g) in triplicate for 10 weeks. The G0 diet (control group, containing 28% FM protein), G1 (containing 10% SBM protein 18% G2 5% protein, FSBM G3 protein). It was found that compared with group), activities catalase (CAT), superoxide dismutase (SOD), pepsin, trypsin, α-amylase, lipase, expression levels mammalian target rapamycin (mtor), kinase B (akt), phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (pi3k), plant ribosome S6K (s6ks), lysozyme (lyz) genes, increased significantly (p < 0.05), tumor necrosis factor (tnf-α), interleukin-1β (il-1β), interleukin-6 (il-6) genes decreased 0.05).
